Should car foreign manufacturers that set up factories in the UK be penalized for pulling out of the UK and causing high job loses? Honda are the latest to announce they are closing down the Swindon plant (stating it's nothing to do with Brexit, but to do with EV production? What, they can't make EV's in the UK??)
I find it hard to accept that these car makers are pulling out of the UK. Is it fair, that they came here and set up shop, then forced our British car makers out of business over the years, then leave the UK once we have no British manufacturers left? To be fair, our British factories were run by numpties and most of the staff (although not all) had no pride in their work and would rather spend time striking than actually working!. But all the same, we're left with only foreign car makers in the uk, and now they're leaving causing massive upset to our economy, job losses etc.
